How house design fees work — and how they are paid in instalments
Understand how fees are structured before you receive a quotation.
Design fees are usually based on usable floor area (THB/m²) and scope — a completely new design, drawings developed from an existing sketch, a renovation or an interior.
What affects the fee
- Size and complexity of the building
- Additional systems to design, such as structure and electrical
- Licensed sign-off and site surveys
- Several buildings using the same design in one project are priced on a sliding scale
Payment stages
AIXO splits the fee into 5 instalments of 20% (PD · SD · DD · CD · BP), each paid when that stage is complete and approved.
